Website traffic has become highly controversial. This was proved recently when Hitwise
issued a press release "reporting that for the first time, www.myspace.com has surpassed Yahoo! Mail as the most visited domain on the Internet for US Internet users." Yahoo! replied by issuing a release seeking to clarify the numbers and reaffirm that it was number one US destination online.
Enquisite, which is a new analytics tool launched recently, released some interesting data. The data
drawn from a small sample shows :
* Google — 78.06%
* Yahoo – 10.20%
* MSN – 6.09%
* Google Images — 1.28%
* AOL — 0.68%
* Ask — 0.59%
