Bing made an official announcement on its blog that a new filter has been added within Bing Images which enables viewers to see animated GIF images. As told by Bing, the addition is a part of the search engine’s quest to improve UX so that users are able to find image content more easily.
Users do not have to filter queries to ascertain where the animated GIFS are. The images which are animated GIF in the search results will have a badge on them so that you know that hovering or clicking on these images will trigger animation, as can be seen below:
Animated GIFs are groupings of images that appear as movies, but are just a series of pictures in actuality. All you need to do on Bing to get the animated GIF images is to first go to Bing Images and search for a particle topic following which the type filter can be clicked and “animated GIF” can be selected.
After this option has been selected, Bing will filter images in terms of those which are animated GIFs. When the image is clicked on Bing, users are taken to the Bing’s image preview.
