SEMPO, the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization will now have a new line-up of officers elected by its Board of Directors. This particular organization works as a non-profit professional association which promotes the value of Search Engine Marketing (SEM). The new pannel of officers include Gordon Hotchkiss as the chairperson, Dana Todd (President), Jeffery Pruitt (Vice-President), Treasurer Sara Holoubek, and Secretary Dave Williams.
Kevin Lee, who is the founder of the SEMPO board and the former chairperson in his statement said "These officers have a long association with SEMPO and two of them – Dana and Jeff – served as officers last year as well. Their high level of commitment and experience in search engine marketing exemplifies the organization's mission to represent our industry and increase awareness of, and promote the value of, search engine marketing."
Lee is also said to be the co-founder and Executive of Did-it.com. While the new SEMPO Chairperson Gordon Hotchkiss, President and CEO of Enquiro Search Solutions, is an experienced professional in the search marketing industry since 1996, President Dana Todd is the founder of the site lab. This will be the second time for Dana to serve as the board member of the company. Quite a deserving candidate probably.
On the other hand Jeff Pruitt, President of icrossing will put in his efforts for the proper functioning of the icrossing startegic relationships which would also include top most search engines, technology partners, advertising agencies and Fortune 500 Accounts.
Moreover, Treasurer Sara Holoubek will be working as a free agent consultant serving the interactive advertising sector and its investors. Secretary Dave Williams on the contrary is the Chief Strategic and Co-founder of 360i which is said to be a full-service performance and serach marketing firm, and would continue to provide his services to the Yahoo!'s Advertising, MSN's Advertising Council, and the Executive Advisory Board of the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AIMA).
