A new tool addition in Bing will make it easier for webmasters who are moving sites. Whether a webmaster is moving URL structure internally or replacing the complete address of the site, the new Site Move tool in Bing Webmaster Tools will help with the entire procedure. It is very similar to a 301 redirect. This new Site Move tool helps in conveying the message to Bing that a webmaster is permanently changing URLs from one specific location to another. The new tool is available under Diagnostic and Tools section of Bing Webmaster Tools.

While you are using this tool, you have to first select whether the site architecture is being changed by moving URLs from one folder or just the file name within the current site or if the complete address of the site is being changed.
