Google has announced its new Gmail social sharing element- Google Buzz, to let its users enjoy the new social networking experience. It has the tagline “Go Beyond Status Messages”, giving a tough competition to the popular social networking sites- Facebook and Twitter. The users can access it directly from their Gmail site.

You can easily share your status updates, photos and videos on this new buzzing site. Take a sneak peek into the other exciting features:

Automatic addition of the 40 contacts you converse with the most through your Gmail and chat. Private and public sharing option for your ideas. Integration of all the comments directly into your inbox to allow easy access of them. Thumbnails of all the photos that you can browse full screen too from the popular sites. Import stuff from sites like Picassa, Flickr, Twitter and Google Reader. Real time updates to prevent the worry of manual refreshing by hitting the refresh key every time. 'Like' and 'Dislike' options for the status
updates to filter the interesting and 'likely to skip' posts.
