Google My Business dashboard will no longer display keyword data and top search queries that lead users to a business listing in Google Maps. Google's Jade Wang mentioned in a Google Business Help Thread, this is being done for privacy reasons. Google My Business was launched early this month and just a few days back Google also announced the launch of Google My Business mobile app for iOS and Android devices.

Top Search Queries No Longer Available on Google My Business Insights

Earlier, Google displayed the top keyword phrases in the Google My Business Insights section that people searched to find business listings but now the feature is no longer available. Here is what Jade had to say regarding this:

“We've changed the way that we show some Insights to ensure the privacy of all of our users. We're continuing to improve Insights to provide valuable information for business owners and thank you for your feedback.”

So now will Google even remove the data from Webmaster Tools? We will have to wait to see if such step is taken by the search engine giant.
