The best part about Microsoft's Live Search that is also present in Bing is the Instant Answers. You can get instant answers on shopping, travel and sports. The search engine has now come up with the translation Instant Answers.
If you want to get a word or a phrase translated to another language, just type it on the page. For example, if you write “have a nice day†and want to get it translated into Portuguese, the search result would be like:

When you want the word/phrase to be translated to English, don't forget to include accent marks or else you will not get the result. The new translation Instant Answers is a pretty good feature for the basic language translations.

This is nice! I’m gonna have to try it out. Thanks for bringing my attention to it, so far I couldn’t bring myself to really using Bing, but I’m definitely going to try this.
I seldom use Bing and I'd never noticed we could get the translation almost instantly doing a search.
Actually I've just tried it for "have a nice day in portuguese" and it does not seem to work…
Maybe it only work for the US version of bing.
Bing is throwing many efforts in trying to keep its position, but most seem unsuccessful. I have tried the translation instant answer from English UK to Italian and the translation results were far away from been satisfying,
