Twitter has added website analytics that will let users see how their website is performing on the social network Twitter.
Users will be able to see the tweets that link to their website, even if their @username is not included. They will also see tweets linking to a specific page on their website and how often Twitter users click on their website or to any specific page.
In June, Twitter Analytics was publicly launched with two dropdown options – Followers and Timeline activity. Both the features provide data such as follower growth or how your tweets are performing data related to the Twitter account.
The screen of the site looks different this time because the data about the website that you verified by adding code to the homepage is also showed.
The website analytics focus on two metrics:
Tweets – It shows the tweets from any account linking to the website.
Link clicks – It shows how often the links are being clicked.
Users can choose between "top" or "all" options to see data for both the metrics.
Analytics for a specific page within the website will also be available to users. An option will be present in the upper right, which can be changed to any one of the several timeframe presets.
Twitter has not made a formal announcement of the new analytics feature and the change was talked about in a blog post from Shift Communications.Twitter Adds Website Analytics Feature!,
