Twitter Redesigns Profile Pages & Updates Mobile Apps!

Your Twitter profile will now have a new look with a header photo (quite like the Facebook cover photo). Twitter announced the update in its blog, “Upload an all-new header photo on mobile apps for iPad, iPhone and Android or twitter.com, and the same image will appear whenever anyone views your profile on the web or these apps.”

The Twitter profile is even more exciting on smartphones and tablets including iPad, iPhone and Android devices. The new profile makes it easier for the users to check out others in their Lists much better via their photos because every new Tweet will show up with photo streams right below them. As Twitter says, “Swipe through the stream to see the photos other users have shared or tap any thumbnail to view their photos in fullscreen.”

The header photo will be an addition to the already existent Twitter background photo. Here are few of the Twitter profiles with the new header photo:
