Twitter has updated its Tailored Audiences re-targeting tool to provide improved targeting options to advertisers and help them reach more users similar to their existing audiences. The new features include audience list upload capability, better audience management tools and new supported ID types for creating audiences (mobile advertising IDs and mobile phone numbers).
Create New List Audiences
You can use Twitter’s new Audience Manager tool to easily create new list audiences as well as mange the existing ones on ads.twitter.com. This will give you details of all your audiences right at one place.
The new Audience Manger also lets you build an audience using mobile phone numbers. You can also create an audience list of those who have installed your apps, or viewed certain product in your app.
New Targeting Capabilities
Now you can also target users similar to your tailored audience. This will help you reach those users who are very much similar to your existing audience. Twitter also allows you to exclude tailored audiences based on website visitors from campaigns using interest, keyword, TV and other tailored audiences.
Users can easily uncheck the box in their Twitter privacy settings next to “Tailor ads based on information shared by ads partners,” and Twitter will not match their accounts to information from advertisers for tailored audiences.
