There is a new Twitter design, as Twitter announced recently. The purpose of the new design is to make the platform easier to use for people. It will make it easier for people to find and discover things. Twitter is quoted as “We’ve simplified the design to make it easier than ever to follow what you care about, connect with others and discover something new. You’ll see this new design both on Twitter.com and mobile phones, so that you’ll have a familiar experience any time, anywhere. We’ve also updated TweetDeck to be consistent with this new version. Four new tabs bring you instantly closer to everything you care about.”
Some of the improvements include a new TweetDeck for Chrome and Mac OS App Store, better search and embeddable tweets. The embed tweet link gets activated at the tweet detail page and a box pops up with the embed options.
Twitter is slowly rolling out these features across all platforms including designs and ability to discover new content called-see. According to the social network giant, these changes are just the first few ones as more changes are likely to follow.
