logo_main.gifGoogle has made some changes to its AdSense Policies. This time the updated policies are mainly targeted to AdSense for Mobile. The AdSense for Mobile permits publishers to generate earnings from their mobile webpages using targeted Google ads. To avail the benefit of this service, users need to comply with the terms and conditions of this services.

Fortunately for publishers, there is only one change, like in addition to the standard program policies, publishers who want to participate in AdSense for mobile must also comply with the new policies specific to mobile-compliant webpages. To know the latest policies, click here.

Some other changes for Ad placement and behavior, include:

  • Only one AdSense for Mobile ad unit will be displayed per mobile webpage.
  • A "double" ad unit can be placed only at the bottom of the page, but may appear at the footer of the page.
  • Google ads appearing on the publisher's mobile-compliant webpage cannot be modified or obscured in any way.
  • After a user click, display of the advertiser's landing page cannot be interrupted in any way.

The new AdSense for Mobile policies are quite straight forward and will help you to earn more money from relevant ads on your website.
