As seen on ResourceShelf, Wisenut, owned by LookSmart has been shut down.
"If you’ve been following the search engine biz for a long time you likely remember the rise and fall of WiseNut. It was acquired by LookSmart several years ago. We haven’t really heard or ready anything about WiseNut of late. Now, in the past few days the site was removed telling users to visit LookSmart."
The question now, is whether it will be taken out of the world wide web permanently or whether it is just a temporary shutdown.
