My life is full of soundtracks. And if you are like me, then you would surely get excited at the news that Yahoo! has added in-SERP full music tracks!

Earlier the case was that, one could only play 30-second previews. But now the users will have full access to all of the artist backgrounds and they will be able to play 25 full songs a month, as compared to short previews!

This was how the old shortcut used to look like:

And this is how the new shortcut is developed:

The tracks are available after doing a collaboration with Rhapsody, which are also offering unlimited song plays for $13/month.

“Now you'll be able to listen to Rihanna, sing along to Madonna and JT or rock out to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs without having to leave the search results page or type in a log-in. Simply click your song of choice and the new media player from Yahoo! Music, called FoxyPlayer, will launch near the bottom of the page. The player is easy-to-use and offers full functionality for song playback, like artist and song info and even an expandable playlist tab. You'll be able to continue browsing the results page while the player is in use or turn it off at any time with a single click.” – Greg Makris Yahoo! Search

Yahoo’s new media player, FoxyPlayer, is also launched at the bottom of the browser window:

There are a lot of options that are available at the FoxyPlayer. These options also include various aspects like a display of how many song plays are left for the rest of the month, options to find the video, you can also find the lyrics for the song, and other options to help you know better about the player.

Here are some of the responses that were recorded at the Official Yahoo! Blog

“I love myspace, you could say I'm a "myspace addict" but one thing that really disapoints me is there music players. They only let you put 1 song on your profile page, now I don't know about you but I write alot on my myspace so by the time your done reading everything I wrote, the songs already played like 3 times in a row. I searched around but couldn't fine any music players good enough to go on my myspace. Ethier the code didn't work or the colours were really ugly. Than I heard about this free site called "www.hypster.com"! It's easy to make an account and add music to your playlists. You can upload your own or take from other users playlists. Not only that but, you can customize your music player to fit your profile colours! So check it out you won't regret it!”

“great mashup, design, and innovation. Will definitely be using Yahoo! more often now”

So what are you waiting for? Enjoy this amazing feature now!
