Yahoo! shows a new (and very funny) way as to how they used to handle a query for a competing search engine.

Now, if you search at Yahoo for google, live or ask.com, a line will appear in front of you, “You could go to Google. Or you could stay here and get straight to your answers.” A direct mock at Google!

Now here is the perfect reply from Yahoo's side! A slap on Google's face… Now we wonder what Google will do in response to this bad/good prank!

This is even more hilarious than what Yahoo has done in the past! This screen capture that is shown below, shows the image of the past jokes played by Yahoo!

It shows that when you search at Yahoo! for google.com or google you, then you would get a Yahoo! Shortcut telling you to search the web with Yahoo and not Google. That was funny indeed.

Now here is a picture of the same message, without the search box:

Yahoo Search

So the message is quiet clear! You don't have to visit Google Search Engine, when you are already at Yahoo? Why not just stay here?

Here are some of the responses from the audience out there:

yeah, it sure gave me a giggle when it was sent to me… I have NO IDEA what they were thinking with that one… yikes… -Dave

Hi guys… glad yer finding some laughs… and remember, don't go to other SEO blogs as you can get what you need here… all others SUCK!

Now that is funny as all heck! Wonder if Google is going to play a practical joke on them back – or is just going to let it slide cause they feel sorry for them. -Malok

We wonder if this joke (mock) has something to do with the termination of the Google-Yahoo! Partnership
