Yahoo Launches Revamped e-Commerce Platform Yahoo Stores!

Yahoo has launched the new version of its eCommerce platform, Yahoo Stores that will enable small business owners in having a PCI compliant site. The service will offer built-in SEO, responsive theme and the ability to manage it all with an iPhone.

Head of Yahoo's small business department, Amit Kumar said that Yahoo Stores powers the online businesses to be up and running in minutes. He added, "For most retailers, an online store is crucial, but getting it started is an arduous task that can take weeks. With Yahoo Stores, you can have an online store up-and-running and accepting orders in less than a couple of minutes. Our platform offers a seamless payment processing experience that is automatically PCI compliant, connecting you directly with a payment service provider in just a few clicks".

Yahoo is giving the basic plan at $312 for one year, which includes built-in SEO. " The same serving technology used on Yahoo.com, including relevant keywords in your website URLs, concise descriptions of your website’s content and more. Yahoo Stores also has a powerful product catalog schema and tools for merchants to organize and promote their products. The set-up is simple, with powerful capabilities informed by years of experience working with major retailers", further added Amit Kumar.

The responsive site themes and ability is offered through Yahoo's Live Insights for the iPhone.
