Have you ever heard of search engines taking place of travel agents. No? Are you wondering how? Well, then just take a back seat and explore an entire new world of Yahoo's new release of Yahoo! FareChase, a search engine with the help of which you can plan your trips.  The announcement was made recently on the general availability of the facility.  It is concluded that the usage of this travel search engine will make your search easier while planning out a trip for yourself this summer. That's something superb.

From Yahoo! search blog:

"Yahoo! FareChase (which is now in general availability) is a travel search engine that searches across many airline sites like AA.com, hotel sites like Sheraton.com, and on-line travel agency websites such as Orbitz.com and Cheaptickets.com, to give searchers a comprehensive set of prices and availability for flights and hotel rooms that is available on the web."

However, there's lot more in store for you as Yahoo! also introduced a Trip Planner beta and APIs which would help you out to have an access to the trip for personal applications. That is amazing…isn't it? To add more to this is the fact that you can create nearly 100 trips for yourself. Apart from this, you can also make your family and friends part of  it so that they play equal role in planning out a trip with you. Know more about Yahoo! Trip Planner.
