Yahoo! plans on expanding its search marketing offerings in India. A thread created at Digital forums reports it saying "Yahoo! Search Marketing will be expanding its global presence with an offering in India soon! With Sponsored Search you can connect with customers who are searching online for what you sell. Enter keywords that describe your business and your ad can appear when users in India enter relevant queries." Though the offer will attract customers by direct sponsord ads instead of looking for them and control the cost, it will lack geo-targeting.
