Many noticed drastic changes in ranking. One webmaster's site even dropped from 40 to 490 position. One user writes, “The search results I'm seeing right now are utter mayhem. A search for "online games" brings entry after entry of parasite hosting spam.â€
Another user couldn't log into yahoo. “As soon as I hit "sign in" on yahoo mail, music, groups… whatever, I get the "The page cannot be displayed" error. At least for the last hour since 3pm june 06, 2007. I can find no news about it. Could this 'search update' have anything to do with it?â€.
Within 5 hours, most changes went back to how they were.
