Yahoo!'s Analyst Day just went by. Many people didn't even notice it. The coverage was far short of Google's Press Day. However, some announcements were made. They also posted a 188 page long PDF document on their website.
Jeff Weiner, SVP of Yahoo! Search and MarketPlace, briefed about their view of SocialSearch. Yahoo! has come out with an acronym FUSE – for Find, Use, Share, Expand to explain their vision. Yahoo! really seems to have thought through their strategy, leveraging Social Search (Yahoo Answers and Yahoo Groups), social bookmarking (delicious) and social media (Flickr and a tbd video service) to drive revenue.
