After several top US brands pulled their ads from YouTube when their ads appeared next to some objectionable videos. Now Google has decided to block all ads on YouTube from channels that fewer than 10,000 views. This move has come has the backlash from the advertisers over the placement of ads on controversial videos.

Google told this to Wall Street Journal that this change in policy has been made to punish the rule breakers. Earlier it was simpler and easier to get the approval to dislpay ads on YouTube. The age or the reputation of the channel didn’t really matter.
