For all the foodies out there, Google has updated apps like Google Search, Google Maps and the Google Assistant to make it easier to get a meal delivered to your home, office or even a hotel room.

As per the announcement, Google is partnering with companies like DoorDash, Postmates, Delivery.com, Slice and ChowNow. Support for Zuppler and others are “coming soon.”

“Look out for the “Order Online” button in Search and Maps when you search for a restaurant or type of cuisine.” says Google.

Ordering Directly From Google Search and Maps

With this new update, you will find a “Order Online” button in Search and Maps when you search for a restaurant or type of cuisine.

With a few taps, you can place your order from participating eateries, checking out delivery and pickup times, and paying in advance.

After the payment is accepted, you can simply wait for dinner to be delivered, or if in your car, pick it up on the way home.

Ordering With Google Assistant

While using Google Assistant to place your order, you simply have to say, “Hey Google, order food from [restaurant].”

You can also quickly reorder your go-to meal with some of the delivery partners by saying, “Hey Google, reorder food from [restaurant].” and the Assistant will pull up your past orders, and in just a few seconds, you can select your usual dish.
