WordStream announces their brand new service, the Free Google AdWords Grader.
It is a “free tool that grades your AdWords account performance by analyzing several key performance indicators (including Quality Score, Account Activity, Click-Through Rate, and Impression Share) and comparing your results against those of other AdWords advertisers with similar monthly budgets. It’s like a free, instant PPC audit.” as explained by WordStream’s Larry Kim.
In other words, the AdWords Performance Grader sets out to:
- Depict how your campaigns are fairing in the AdWords race
- Show you where your campaign stands in the competitive landscape
- Offer you pointers which will help you improve your scores and results
The grader is categorized into ten categories which target each aspect of your SMB advertisements.

Did it make you wonder the reason behind rolling out this new tool? Well, Mr. Kim explains the need for this tool, “AdWords is very competitive and confusing, and marketers and small business owners we talk to generally want to know how they’re doing compared to other AdWords advertisers, what’s wrong with their accounts, what they can do to improve, and what kind of results they could expect to get if they were successful. In other words, they want an audit of their PPC accounts, plus help with improving their performance. But PPC audits are expensive and time-consuming.”
It seems like WordStream is confident that their grader will be able to simplify things promptly for its users and that too for free!
