Last week, Google made an announcement that it is postponing the new Google Partners Program requirements for one year. Google stated ‘’As the circumstances around COVID-19 continue to evolve, we understand this is a difficult time for you, your families, and your business. In light of this, we’ve decided to postpone the launch of the new Google Partners program until 2021.”

Google also stated that as it continues to adapt to changes follow the COVID-19 across the world, they are aware of the hardships caused by it on people, their families, business and customers. To help businesses focus on the matters which matter the most to them, Google has decided to defer the June 2020 launch of its new Google Partners program and new badge requirements till 2021. In reality, there has been massive cut in budgets this year and also for the near future. It will be a challenge to meet the new ad spend requirements.
