It looks like Google is experimenting with the Google Search interface for tablets.

As first noted by Digital Inspiration , the new design seems to have gotten rid of the left hand side navigation and has opted for horizontal navigation along with drop down menus. Also it seems to have taken out its patented “Gooooooooooogle”.

In the Google News Search page you will notice, Google has also added the Everything, Images, Video, etc. icons right below the filtering options.


Whilst there is no official announcement made by Google about the new tablet interface. This new design sure seems to be creating some buzz on Twitter already:


With the recent one being just a few hours ago, giving it a thumbs up.


So, whether Google makes it official or not, it seems like whatever they are doing, is being liked by the tablet users. Carry on the good work Google!
