Google has launched Google Business Photos program for businesses in India. This program is a part of Google Maps service, it allows businesses to post 360 degree interior photos of their restaurants, shops, showrooms and offices on Google Maps. As of now the program has been launched in eight different cities in India. Soon it will expand to twenty different cities by the end of the year. The Business Photos Program is already live and a running successfully in several countries such as United States, Australia, New Zealand, France, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland.

To enroll for this program, a business can choose Google certified Photographer Agency. The shoot will be conducted by the agency and the photos uploaded to the local listings on the Google map. These pictures will be visible along with search results of that listing. But most important fact is that the businesses will not be able to review the photos before they are uploaded.

Shailesh Nalawadi, Product Manager at Google India says, “We’re excited about opening up the Google Business Photos Program to India, and we look forward to helping businesses around the country improve their online presence by providing more comprehensive information to their customers.”
