Search engine optimization(SEO) refers to the process through which your site gains visibility to people searching for something related to its domain. A recent survey has revealed considerable information about the competence of SEO professionals. It has also highlighted the things they need to do to have a promising future in the industry. The study showed that less than a quarter of the budget is spent on SEO.

The importance and effectiveness of SEO has grown from 88% in 2018 to 97% this year. However, the number of marketers who are aware of the best practices has gone down. Those who consider themselves naive have grown by 8% in 2019. 82% of the respondents felt that the creation of new content was the least effective SEO practice for their brand. 46% thought that it easy to access media-rich production for their own brand creation.
