Bing has introduced out numerous new “intelligent search” features that are configured to enhance user’s experience when searching for coupons, home services, and coupons. These new features will enable searchers to:

  • Calculate and compare hotel prices across multiple providers
  • Help make trade-offs for the cost of home services
  • Save on products through a new experience on deals

Hotel Searches

Bing is working on a hotel search feature it released in May, which shows aggregated pricing from third party booking sites. It’s now being improved with price trends, tips, and a comparison view. Now when users look for hotels in Bing, they will come across booking tips which competing options they may not have thought about. Bing also offers historical price trends for date range a user is looking for. A new comparison view offers a complete summary on pricing by hotel option.

Home Searches Searches

Bing’s partnership with Porch will enable it to show cost ranges for home services. Since prices can vary on the basis of location, data is specific to the zip code from which the user is making the search. Bing will also assist users to collect quotes from home services with just a “Get Quote” button. On clicking the button, users will come across a pre-populated request form on Yelp. Users might send a bulk request to top 10 provides immediately.

Coupons and Deals Searches

At present Bing also collects deals across deals across first-and third-party listings, which are shown when users search either for coupons or retailers. Bing will also show relevant insights such as ‘expiring soon’, whether offers are online or in-store. All these features are now live in the US specifically for desktop searches.
