It is no secret that Google My Business is an extremely powerful tool which helps business attract new customers and share information about what makes them special.

Today, millions of businesses are using Google My Business to connect directly with their customers.

By listing themselves on Google My Business, they not only appear right when people search for products or services they offer, but also allow interested customers to learn more or get in touch with them.

Thus, it is important for businesses to manage their reviews and regularly post their special offers and events, which can help build their customers’ trust.

To help business owners showcase positive reviews, Google My Business is launching a new feature which will now let you post suggested reviews as customer testimonials.

WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

  • Google My Business will provide suggested posts to help you showcase positive reviews left for your business.
  • Recent reviews with 4 or 5-star ratings will be suggested to post.
  • You will be able to review and edit the post before publishing it.
  • In addition to appearing on a business’s Google My Business page, they may also be shown on Maps and in search results.

As per the announcement, “You may get suggestions for new testimonials to post when you sign in to Google My Business, or via email notifications.”

So, to help market your business, it may be a good idea to check at least once a week for new reviews to share.

Google did not specify which countries are getting access to this feature, but said that this feature is rolling out in “some countries.”
