Google announces a redesigned shopping experience for users to let them discover and easily compare millions of products from thousands of stores.

Along with the redesigned Google Shopping destination, it is also introducing a universal cart across its several platforms of services, including Google Search, Google Images, YouTube.

“We’re making the places where people come to browse and explore products on Google shoppable,” says Google.

Unveiling The New Google Shopping Experience:

  • Shoppers will now have a personalized homepage on the shopping tab, which will allow them to filter features and find brands they love, read reviews and even watch videos about the products.
  • After reading all the specifications and finding the right product, they can simply tap the blue “Add to cart” button which would allow them to buy the item on the spot.

  • The purchase will be backed by a Google guarantee, making people shop confidently as Google is there to help if they do not get what they were expecting, their order is late, or they have issues getting a refund.
  • Also, it will give retailers an opportunity to be discovered in more places and drive more shoppers.

As per the announcement, if you are a Shopping Actions merchant, your products will automatically be part of this new easy purchase experience on Google Shopping, Google.com and the Google Assistant.

Google stated that later this year it will also expand Shopping Actions for more Google services, including YouTube and Google Images.
