Launching and running a blog can be problematic for writers with considerable experience. From tracking details of visitors to engaging readers, observing the presence of the blog on search engines, there are a lot of areas one has to look into. Bloggers use numerous services for such tasks.

However many of these don’t work well collectively. To resolve this problem, Google has launched Blog Compass which brings everything you require for running a blog within a single piece. This app at present is in open beta and is available both in English and Hindi for users based in India.

Google Launches Blog Compass

Google aims to organize the information shared across the world. Blogs are one of the most effective ways through which people can voice their opinion, and enhance the vitality of the internet across the different parts of the world.

Blog Compass is an Android-based app which can be integrated with both WordPress and Blogger.com, two most widely used blogging platforms in India. Once you log into your account in either of the two platforms, Blog Compass will help you connect with Google Analytics and Search Console. Therefore you will be able to view demographic details, traffic sources, status of Google search and trending Google searches which lead to your blog.

Blog Compass also analyzes your post history and interests which you share with it. Based on these details, Blog Compass can provide detailed Google Trends data which is customized for your blog. This will make it easier for you to look for a new topic which you can write about. In some initial tests conducted by Google, it was found that most bloggers were able to post frequently when they used Blog Compass. Google is adding more features and fixing bugs on the basis of feedback offered by new users. As Blog Compass grows, Google will provide support for more blogging platforms, countries and languages.
