On Monday, Google announced two new features specifically for Google Search Console’s testing tools. Within Google URL testing tools like rich results test and URL inspection tool, you will now be able to search within your markup to find a code, copy and tweak it. According to Google, this will make checking rendered markup and adjusting it considerably easier.

Both these features include-

  • Search with the markup to promptly find out the exact spot in the markup which you intend to adjust.
  • Copy code and markup before tweaking it and find out whether they pass validation and ensure favorable results.

What is the significance of the feature?

In the long run, this feature may make debugging issues with your markup for structured data problems faster. It will make it easier for you to find out the issues that may be existing in your markup, test the changes to help you find out whether it will be validated by Google or not.
