Google has updated its Keyword Planner tool with the capability to show the most relevant keywords based on seed keyword. This update was made to enable users to prioritize the specific keywords to add to their respective Google Ads accounts.

“For example, when you provide the seed keyword “boots”, you might see keyword ideas such as “womens boots”, “work boots” and “cowboy boots.” You’ll have the option to broaden your search by adding recommended words to your seed keyword.”

Along with this update, two other features have been added to Keyword Planner. They are mentioned below-

  • Website filtering-Filter keyword ideas to show only those keywords which are closely related to your business(based on your website).
  • Brand exclusions-Exclude keyword ideas which include brand terms.

All the new changes are being rolled out in English as of now and will be made for other languages in the later part of 2019.
