SEOmoz has come up with a helpful service called MozCast. It is a ‘Google Weather’ service that shows the fluctuations in rankings due to changing Google algorithm, quite like the fluctuations one sees in temperature in regular climate updates. You will see a temperature and a weather symbol in these unique yet highly useful automated reports.  MozCast tracks 1,000 keywords on a daily basis for certain websites to come up with their Google weather report. The weather for each day is actually the updates from the previous day and is refreshed every day at 7:30am Pacific Time.

So, you will have a higher temperature, touching 90s when there is a major ranking algorithm update on its way. You can see the algorithmic fluctuations of the last 5 days to one month. What do you think of this new feature? Useful tool to keep up with weather reports?
