 Google launched New feature For Its Search Results Snippets

Google has launched this feature where you need to click on the three dots in the search result snippet, and Google shows you more information “about this result.” It can display information about the site from Wikipedia if it is available. Google said, “When available, you’ll see a description of the website from Wikipedia, which provides free, reliable information about tens of millions of sites on the web.”

Check Guidelines For Co-Working Spaces Added By Google My Business 

Google has added to its Google My Business guidelines around co-working spaces. That means if your business is out of a co-working space, it must have signage, accept customers and be staffed to be eligible to have a Google My Business listing with a co-working address. The business should be able to accept customers at that address during business hours.

 Google Page Experience Update Label Needs All Factors To Be Compliant

A Google official John Mueller said that if Google does launch the Page Experience Update label/indicator, for your site to show up for it, all the requirements must be met. He also added, “We really need to know that all of the factors are compliant.” Hence, if you have any of the Page Experience Update metrics that don’t meet the mark, you won’t be able to get the icon. 

Google Will Suspend Merchant Websites  

Google said, starting on April 6; it will begin enforcing its longstanding policy of requiring merchants to show the price of an item from their Google Merchant feed on their e-commerce page, all the way through the checkout process. If anyone shows a higher price than what is displaying on its landing page, Google can suspend that account. You can also see Google guidelines for the checkout requirements.

Embedded Videos Will Have Same SEO Worth As Uploaded Content

John Mueller from Google said there’s no difference, when it comes to SEO, between embedded videos and videos natively uploaded to a website. Saidul Hoque, SEO Manager at RealClicks, asks “Is there any difference between embedding and uploading a video from an SEO point of view?” John Mueller’s answer is straightforward but collides with more commonly held beliefs around SEO and embedded videos. 

Google Said All Core Web Vitals Must Need To Meet Ranking Signal

Google’s John Mueller said that all three Core Web Vitals benchmarks must be met to qualify for the ranking signal boost rolling out this May. This topic was discussed in the latest Google Search Central SEO office-hours on January 29. A question asked how much it matters if one of the Core Web Vitals is below Google’s requirements when the other two are met.

Google Has Combined More Information About Domains in Search Results

Now, Google is offering more information about domains in search results, helping searchers learn about sources without conducting multiple queries. Google Search update adds a new three-dot icon to the top right corner of search snippets. By clicking on the icon, you can pull up a card from the bottom of the screen with additional pieces of information about the search result.

Google is starting its Black History Month with a new update to shopping search results that make it easier for you to find and support Black-owned businesses.  Google Analytics Has Now Stop Gathering Data From YouTube Channels

Google Analytics will not collect data from YouTube channel pages after deprecating the connection between the two services. It has implemented from February 1, 2021. You can access only historical data, but you will not be able to track new data. 

Now Search Console Discover Report Contains Chrome Data

Discover offers a way to users to stay on the top of all updates about their favorite topics, even when they’re not looking for something particular. Publishers can already access the Discover performance report to review crucial metrics about how a website performs in Discover where it appears in the Google app on Android or iOS. People can also experience Discover content when they open a new tab in Chrome on Android or iOS, where Discover also lives.

Instagram Added A Feature Called ‘Recently Deleted’ Folder For Removed Content

Instagram has added a ‘Recently Deleted’ folder that allows users to review their removed content before deleting it permanently. When users remove content from their account, it will be immediately sent to Recently Deleted, and from there, users can permanently delete the content.
