Google E-A-T is a three letter acronym, standing for “Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness.” It’s Google’s way of determining whether your site should be considered trustworthy.

Google’s measure of quality relies on the following: Expertise; are you an expert in this field? How authoritative do we think you are with regard to that topic or subject matter? And finally trustworthiness – how can users rely on what they read from our website as being accurate information about said subject matter.

Content should be abundant enough to fulfill the needs of a user for any given page’s unique topic and ideas. The best way to make your content engaging is, ironically, by adding more. More words in general will keep users on their toes as they explore your site. High quality pages should have functional designs that are hard to miss. The website should have a clean and user-friendly design for those who want information fast.  This Click Intelligence infographic shares ideas on how Google decides whether your site is high quality.
